Trying to play catch up

Ok, so I'm sorry i haven't written anything lately. What makes it worse is that so much has been going on. So here goes. first off, Im back at work after a two month forced vacation... no worrie I was paid, and i did nothing wrong. So yes, i have been living the REAL AMERICAN DREAM9getting paid to do nothing). Heather and i are finally all moved ina throwing a sick Halloweenie party on Saturday. We're going to Be Sonny and Cher. my Chicago Bears are doing great, except for that slight hiccup on Monday night football. My living room straight out of a SAMSUNG commercial witha 50" plasma screen and surround sound. It's glorious. Heather says I am living in Opulence. I love that word. I am glad to not have to ive paycheck to paycheck, and be saving money for the first time in my life. I think the Army really freaked us out to stay in by telling us that we probably wouldnt be making all htat much more when we got out. Maybe I just am completely blessed. Maybe I got lucky as all get out. Im making more money than I ever have, I like my boss, I like the people i work with, and my job is stress free. Getting out of the Army is the best thing I ever did in my life.
KAraoke the other night was awesome. jon and I tore the roof off the joint. What's more is we sat at the circle table next to the stage that is always taken. I loved it. I am looking forward to more good times this year, and Very much looking forward to more blogging to come.

For the Ladies

While my title may be "somewhat" gender bias, I do feel that this is an issue that the gentlemen should be privy to as well. So when I say "for the ladies" it is more like a cheers rather than a directive. That being said, let's get into it...How many times has a woman's quote unquote irrational behavior been simply attributed to "that time of the month?" While I do admit that many women go a little nutso when they are menstruating, it is a bonafide hormonal imbalance. Put quite simply, it is not our fault, it's biological!

What I'm putting forth is that men too have a "that time of the month" except that it is not so much a monthly thing as it is a whenever they get around electronics or power tools thing. When this occurs females are not allowed to ask questions, offer help, and at many times not even talk. The latter occurs most often when our gentlemen are feeling frustrated by said electronics or power tools. It could be hypothesized that this too is hormonal, having these objects of empowerment might create a surge in testosterone levels, but that is for the sexual behaviorist to decide. What I am simply stating is that carnal emotional outbursts are not the sole property of the fairer sex.

My advice to the sexes is this, men--be nice to your lady when she is feeling overly emotional, it is not the time to make jokes about mental stability; ladies--as much as our instincts and the 60s may tell us otherwise, shut up and occupy yourself elsewhere.
